Prostate Cancer

–  the most common cancer of genitourinary system in men.


Around 200 thousand new cases diagnosed every year and it is the second leading cause of cancer related deaths in men,  tailing only lung cancer. The incidence of prostate cancer increases with advanced age, much higher in patients with African- American ancestry and in the presence of prostate cancer in immediate family members.

What kind of symptoms are caused by prostate CA?

Not much, prostate CA does not cause any discomfort until it spreads outside of the prostate or goes in advanced non curable stage.

In order to catch cancer early enough

to get rid of it, you needs to have a regularly special blood test (called PSA) and prostate exam by Urologist.
