Enlarged Prostate (EP)
or Benign Prostatic Hyperthrophy (BPH)
– it is a benign condition that affect the majority of man after their 50s.
It could start even in a younger age in rare occasions.

It consists of benign growth of the glandular tissue inside prostate gland and formation of the adenoma around urethra (urinary tube). It leads to the mechanical compression of it with restriction of urinary flow and inability to empty urinary bladder.
The main symptoms of BPH
are urinary hesitancy, straining with micturition, night time urination, feeling of incomplete bladder emptying and occasional urgency.
BPH is not a prostate Cancer
and does not have any casual relation to prostate CA.
